كرس برينتون تارانت منفذ هجوم المسجدين في نيوزيلندا، حيزا من بيانه الذي يشرح فيه دوافع عمله الإرهابي، لرسالة للأتراك يحذرهم فيها من مغبة محاولة “استيطان الأراضي الأوروبية”.
وكتب للأتراك: “يمكنكم العيش في سلام في أراضيكم على الضفة الشرقية للبوسفور، لكن إذا حاولتم العيش في الأراضي الأوروبية، وفي أي مكان غربي البوسفور، سنقتلكم ونطردكم يا صراصير من أراضينا”.
وأضاف: “نحن قادمون إلى القسطنطينية وسنهدم كل المساجد والمآذن في المدينة. آيا صوفيا ستتحرر من المآذن وستكون القسطنطينية بحق ملكا مسيحيا من جديد. ارحلوا إلى أراضيكم طالما لا تزال لديكم الفرصة لذلك”.
ودعا البيان أيضا لقتل من وصفهم بـ”رموز أعداء أمتنا”، وخص بالذكر الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان، إضافة إلى المستشارة الألمانية أنغيلا ميركل وعمدة لندن باكستاني الأصل صادق خان.
كما ذكر سفاح المسجدين أن أحد أهداف هجومه هو “دق إسفين بين أعضاء حلف الناتو الأوروبيين وتركيا، بهدف “إعادتها إلى مكانتها الطبيعية كقوة غريبة ومعادية”.
وكان تارانت قد بث مباشرة عبر موقع للتواصل الاجتماعي وقائع إطلاقه النار على المصلين في أحد المسجدين، حيث بلغت حصيلة ضحايا الهجوم حسب المعلومات الأخيرة، 49 قتيلا و20 جريحا على الأقل.

ANKARA, Turkey — Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has condemned the attacks on mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch calling it the “latest example of rising racism and Islamophobia.”
Tweeting in English and Turkish on Friday, Erdogan said: “On behalf of my country, I offer my condolences to the Islamic world and the people of New Zealand, who have been targeted by this deplorable act.”
He also wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has said 40 people were killed in the attack on two mosques.
Turkey’s private NTV news channel quoted Turkish embassy officials as saying there are no Turkish citizens among the dead.
